AJAX or Load in Place

Hi, when browsing by category, is it possible for the category listing to load via AJAX or otherwise just be able to load it in place of the main page containing the [adverts_list] shortcode? That is, instead of redirecting to an archive page off the root domain.

I have the main listing showing on a subpage of the site (with its own template separate from the site, acting like a separate micro site) and I want to keep people on this subpage.

To make example clearer,

Based on a fresh installation of the plug-in? I have [adverts_list] on this page:
https://www.example.com/newsletter/

Currently, if I attempt to browse by any category (Entertainment category for example), it redirects to

https://www.example.com/advert-category/entertainment/

However I’d like to be able to keep users on https://www.example.com/newsletter/
