ajax localization issue

  • Hello,

    I just started to translate this plugin and realized that ajax localization is not working. Because wp_localize_script gets messages directly database and this is not proper way for localization.

    Hope you fix in next version.

    Hi. Messages are saved in the DB at the time of first activation. If you translate the plugin and then activate it for the first time, the messages should get inserted in the correct language. Shouldn’t they?

    Hi @khaxan,

    Nope, it doesn’t work, probably plugin activation hook fires too early before language load also users should know to add language pack before activation.

    IMHO, languages should be available when they located correct file and storing translated strings in DB isn’t best practice.

    Please consider this.
