Ajax Guest Mode Not Working

  • Hi,
    I have activated the “guest mode” feature and read that some data will be loaded using ajax when the page is open.

    But when I activate the that feature, the page is reloaded 2 times (so it don’t use ajax), the first load because the page is opened, the second re-load (not using ajax) because it load data that the guest mode has delayed.

    Hi,

    from what I see , the GM is working as it should

    first load is guest page , then it will immediate reload itself into normal page

    Yes, but you can see that the page loads a second time without using ajax, but reloads as if it was refreshed.

    yes, it reloads the page like you click “refresh” button , that is normal behavior with guest mode

    But I see on this page it says that it uses ajax to load guest mode, which one is correct?

    well , actually both are correct

    it does ajax to /wp-content/plugins/litespeed-cache/guest.vary.php then it gives instruction to reload the page

    it may not be the way you think as it is how “ajax” work like Pjax to reload , but more like conventional browser refresh type reload
