AJAX Filter & Pagination Isn't Working

I’ve got a site running buddypress & buddypress followers with a couple hundred users on it. I’m using Simple WordPress Membership to handle the signup and registration / payment process. Everything is running smoothly but I can’t seem to figure out what’s going wrong on the members ‘Followers’ and ‘Following’ sections.
When clicking on either, the site will load the first page of users. But upon trying to go to a second page or trying to use the ‘Order By’ filter, it returns no users. I’ve found a lot of similar issues on forums, but I haven’t been able to find a fix.
