    Hello there,

I have an issue with all my forms. They don’t send any email.
    Debugging the issue:
    – SMTP plugin sends successfully test email
    – Deactivating Wordfence and Ithemes security doesn’t work
    – Disabling “Enable Ajax submission” generates an error
    – Deactivating all Elementor experiments doesn’t solve the issue

After sending an email through forms in the console I get the error:
    wpforms.min.js?ver=1.7.9.1:1 WPForms AJAX submit error
    consoleLogAjaxError @ wpforms.min.js?ver=1.7.9.1:1

I have no minification system activated on the website nor caching system

    So please help
    Regards
    Alice

  • Hey @alcegraphics – Thanks for reaching out and I apologize for the inconvenience!

I looked at the contact form, and it seems that the the form isn’t there. When you have sometime, can you please embed the form, and let me know so I can do some testing?

    Kindly,

Hey @alcegraphics – We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!

Sorry, the client had deactivated the form and did’t tell me.

Now the form is live again, here you are: https://persuasivamente.com/contatti/

Hey @alcegraphics – Thanks for following on this ticket and for sharing the URL.

I looked at the form, and I was able to replicate the issue. When I inspected the form in dev tools, I noticed the following error messages:

    POST https://persuasivamente.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 500

    WPForms AJAX submit error
    consoleLogAjaxError @ wpforms.min.js?ver=1.7.9.1:1

    Here’s a screenshot

Basically, the screenshot above is saying that the AJAX script (in the admin-ajax.php file) is having a 500 error. This almost always stems from a file permissions issue. If you contact your host and ask them to reset file permissions, this should start working properly. And please share the screenshot and screencast with them.

Once that’s all done, please let me know how that turns out.

    Kindly,
