• Hello, I added a list item on the navigation menu called “give to renew” at the very top, next to “watch online”.

When I search for “renew”, I get the result of the menu item and also of the actual renew page. I don’t want ajax to crawl the navigation item. How do I remove that?

fyi- I have hidden and renamed the menu item to something else so that the crawler doesn’t find it.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

The plugin does not crawl nor search the menu items. Make sure that the correct post types are selected under the General Options -> Sources panel.
If so, then there must be another post/page or selected custom post type that is returned as the result.

    Best,

Ok, thanks I will look into that. Any idea why I am also getting the events page as a result, even though “Renew” is not listed anywhere on that page?

    Hi,

Hard to tell, but it can be a custom field (or part of it), a taxonomy term or something within the content – a link, part of a link, part of any HTML tag or similar.

    Best,
    Ernest M.
