AJAX but page reloading anyway

    Hi,

    In the changelog I’m reading that consents are now handled by AJAX as of version 1.4.9. I’m running 1.5.0 but when I’m trying to consent from a private browser window, the whole of the page refreshes.

    Am I wrong in thinking that with AJAX, there shouldn’t be a complete page refresh, but consents should be handled in the background?

  • Having the same problem.

    I am looking for the AJAX call in order to improve test automation of our sites. Would like to preset the GPDR consent before visiting the page to prevent a page reload and greatly decrease testrun duration.

    If page reload would be removed completely that would be even better.

    Yes.. this is a very very important usability upgrade.

    I love the functionality of this plugin.

    The page reloading however destroys usability and looks bad on a business site.

    Can you please add AJAX to the Accept button to a soon update? Will donate a few $ when i can.
