    Hey,

I’ve recently updated my theme, and thought it’d be cool if the timer showed up once a product was added to the cart even if Ajax add to cart is used (i think that’s what’s causing it, I could be wrong).

Currently, when adding an item to their cart directly from the shop page, a user would have to refresh the page to be shown the expiration message. This could happen naturally, but it’d be nice if you didn’t have to rely on that.

Try adding a product to cart on the site below to see what I mean. The side bar shows up, but no expiration message.

Sorry if this has already been answered, I cant seem to find it when searching other support topics.

Help is as always greatly appreciated!

    Kind regards,
    Jack

    Hi Jack,

Unfortunately it’s a pretty big undertaking to add the Ajax support and I haven’t had the available time to work on it. For now the best solution is just to disable Ajax add to cart and let the page reload.

    Hey James,

Understood, not a problem. Any idea on when such a feature may be available?

Will the plugin still function correctly if i keep AJAX add to card enabled, or is the page refresh required?

    Kind regards,
    Jack

It’s on the roadmap but I’ve got a really long list of things todo on this and other projects so who knows when it will happen.

It will still function correctly if you continue to use ajax, you just won’t get the notice displayed until the page is refreshed.

    Hey,

All good, looking forward to it!

I’ll mark this as resolved now (apologies for the delay).
