AJAX add to cart

  • YITH Wishlist Version 2.0.4

    When adding to cart I don’t get a live update of the cart total / items.

    When I click add to cart on the wishlist page, the entire form has an opaque grey overlay momentarily, then the wishlist item disappears from the table. However the cart doesn’t update.

    This ajax functionality works when adding a product to cart from the rest of the shop.

    Hi admench,

    can you please post us a link where we can check the problem? Have you any js errors on your console?

    I’ve tested it in my local installation, and work just fine; product will be removed from wishlist and added to cart.

    “Add to cart” in the new version of the plugin is the default “add to cart” button from woocommerce products loop, so it should work everywhere in the same way.

    Furthermore, can you please try with default wordpress theme?

    Just checked!

    Product will be correctly added to cart; only the mini cart don’t update after ajax.

    I’ve tried also on my local installation with woocommerce default cart widget; it updates after add to cart, as expected.

    Maybe this mini cart reference is added by your theme, and don’t use the standard woocommerce js handling? Maybe some custom js enqueued only on shop page?
