Firstable, I would like to thank you about AIOWS, it’s really a good security plugin, very easy to use.

Although, I have a problem: during I configure the settings to secure my wp, I noticed that some of them are not effectif, even if I’ve activate them.

And when I have looked in the differents php files, I see that the settings were at the defaults values, were activated, but not efficient according to the audit log.

Can you help me to understand why?

    Hi @jbd2023.

Right now once you install the plugin and activate it will set default config settings.

Then you start enable one by one that feature.

Can you please let us know which features seem not effective though activated?

Are those regarding WP security > Firewall if yes once you activate and deactivate the plugin at that time the firewall settings which applies to .htaccess files are reset and asked to reapply.

There is the issue of block XML – RPC does not feature not enabled if the plugin is deactivated and activated again that is the only identified issue and we are working on a fix for that.

    Hi,
I’ve actived the Lockin lockout, the Blacklist and others, but the two parameters aren’t applyed, even if they are activated on the web interface. And when I check the php file, it appears they are activate, but not efficient.

    Hi @jbd2023

If you have login lockout enabled means 3+ invalid loging attempts done it should lockout your IP address. If you have enabled black list manager and added IPs to black list and you are accessinge website from that IP it shoud block access to website.

Which PHP file do you check? are you saying for settings.php at below path ?

    wp-content\uploads\aios\firewall-rules\settings.php

    Regards
