AIOWPS htaccess rules corrupted

    We have had a website go down twice now within 12 hours due to an htaccess corruption. It looks like the aiowps rules are getting partially duplicated. Below is the AIOWPS section of the corrupted htaccess;

    Just happened again and it overwrote the default WordPress htaccess section

    Hi @keithvfs

    Generally AIOS writes .htaccess code once only. It might be the server resource issue. Please cross check CPU usage etc and if possible contact server provider alos.

    To solve corrupt .htaccess issu Please remove from .htaccess all code between,

    “BEGIN All In One WP Security”
    “END All In One WP Security”

    Then Go to WP security > Firewall > Basic firewall rules. click Save button it will write again all .htaccess rules

    If possible make .htaccess read only. it can not be writable so during that you do not have issue.

    I will try check in more detail and get back to you but this is not general case and for all other users it works fine.
