    Hi there,

we are using both AIOWPS and Borlabs Cookie plugin on all our websites.

Unfortunately though, the cookie stats stopped working a few weeks ago and after talking to Borlabs support, we found out that the cookie-based brute-force-login protection feature is causing the AJAX request to the backend to be redirected to the localhost IP (127.0.0.1), which apparently prevents the stats from working.

Do you have any idea how we can make the stats work again? They are important.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Alexander

In Additional Firewall Rules, have you track and trace disabled?

Thanks for getting back to me!

Yes, track and track is disabled (the corresponding checkbox is not ticked).

    Hi,

    In the setting tab you should see two option to;
    Disable all security features or
    Disable all firewall rules
Can you disable them one at a time so we can start to narrow down which setting is causing the issue. This should narrow the issue down to either firewall related or security related.
Once you have found wether it is the Security or firewall settings that are causing the issue, can you then disable all of your settings for this category (firewall or security) and re-enable them one by one until you find the offending setting?

Found the culprit: it’s the cookie-based brute-force-login protection feature.

I have been using this feature for about a year or two now and it never interfered with the Borlabs cookie plugin in the past. Any ideas what might cause problems now?

Out of curiosity , In Miscellaneous, do you have Disallow Unauthorized REST Requests enabled?
Does unchecking it make any difference?
With regards to your question, I will be honest, I don’t know why this would suddenly be happening now. We have made some changes to the plugin and Borlabs will have made some changes so it could just be that.

No, “Disallow Unauthorized REST Requests” is disabled on all our sites.

This is quite unfortunate. Would you be willing to have a look at our site?

    Hi Alex,

I am going to log this as a potential conflict so that one of our developers can take a look.
Can you email our support here: [email protected]
Could you include the URL of the support ticket and give it the title “Borlabs conflict”

    Dear Prashant,

is there a reason you stopped replying to my e-mails after February 25?

    Kind regards,
