• Hi. Hope everyone’s doing well. I haven’t needed to ask for any assistance since I received all the help from you guys within that first month I went up. However, I have a new mini-problem I need help with.

On my blog’s right sidebar, I have a widget for my dog Molly who I had to have put down last month. I would like to, if possible, have the widget switch places with the Archives, currently below it. Can this be done?

Here is the link to my blog.

Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Dominick

  • Of course .
Login your administration panel and goto Appearance->Widgets .
On the left-side is the sidebar with all widgets listed on a stack . Just Drag-drop the widget in the stack . If the list of the side-bar isn’t visible klick on the small arrow of the “Sidebar” tab .

My apologies. I prob. should have been clearer in that regard. The Archives bit is not a Widget. So, that solution won’t help.

Could you please explain . Usually all content in the side-bar are displayed with widgets .

Okay, I was looking through my acct and found the thread I was looking for: link. That will show/explain how the Archives aren’t a widget and what was done to make it that way. Let me know if that helps any.

In Admin Section / Appearance select Editor. In the right hand column then select sidebar (sidebar.php). The code for that will appear in the middle window.

Find the section of code for Molly’s panel and move it below the archive section.

Never mind, gang, it’s all good. I played around with some of the coding and eventually got kinda-sorta what I wanted. Thanks all the same. Cheers..
