    Dear Development Team,

We are currently considering the adoption of your WordPress plugin for our website to enhance accessibility by automatically populating Alt texts for images. However, before making a decision, we have some specific questions, as our website contains a significant collection of graphics and tables and primarily targets a German-speaking audience:

    1. Can the plugin interpret more complex image content, such as graphics and tables? If so, how detailed can these contents be described in the Alt text, particularly regarding data, labels, and structures?
    2. Does the plugin have the capability to recognize text within images, and specifically, does it support the recognition of German text? Since most of our content is in German, this feature would be of significant importance to us.
    3. In case the plugin supports text recognition, are the generated Alt texts also provided in German? It is crucial for us that the Alt texts are produced in the preferred language of our target audience to enhance both the accessibility and the search engine optimization of our website.

Thank you in advance for your support and prompt response.

    Kind regards,

    Hello @konstantinflk!

    1. Yes, usually the AI vision model does a good job with tables and graphics. We’d suggest setting the model to the “Elaborated” mode in your Account: Settings (you do this online in your alttext.ai account), which will give you the most details in the alt text.
    2. Yes it should work with German text.
    3. Yes, you can select German as the alt text language, so all generated alt text will be in German.

Please feel free to sign up for a free trial account, and you can test it out with some of your images to see how it works! If you have any problems, you can contact us on our support page and we can help.

    Danke ??
