    Then entering the width of the video to be embeded in a predefined field, leaving it up to the non-advanced user to calculate the height or go pro version again.

    Sorry, but to go so aggressive for making the user pay, for such a simple task is redicoulus. Installed it, one look, deinstall!

    There are plugins which are much more sublime than this one, and they are for free! Your choice.

    This is an advanced YouTube plugin and probably not for “the non-advanced user” as you mention. It offers features that no other YouTube plugin offers for free. If you are simply looking to embed YouTube videos without anything extra (chapters, annotations, and other extra features), then you should definitely consider other options.
