Aggregating several blogs into one

Hi

I’ve searched the forums here and can’t quite find an answer to what i wish to try and do.

I am one of several bloggers who write about a similar subject. We have recently been talking as a group and would like to try and set up a completely new site that can pull the various posts we each write on our existing blogs and have them show as new posts in a new, completely separate blog on a different domain as well as on the original site. I want the original blogs to still exist as stand-alone sites but for the posts written for them to also feed through to the new aggregates site.

I want the individual posts to show as posts, rather than just links or an RSS feed. The new site must look like an ordinary blog with multiple authors.

Can this be done somehow? Also, can it be done if not all of the blogs are WordPress and some of them run on Blogger?
