Aggregated CSS file not loading when Inline and Defer CSS? is enabled

  • When I enable Inline and Defer CSS? option, the aggregated css file is not included in page source.
    It works as expected on my localhost, my 3 sites on the same server have this problem.

    I tried disabling all plugins, switching to a different theme, nothing worked.

    Aggregated CSS is generated, It works with out the Inline and Defer CSS option.

    Any idea what could be wrong?

    WordPress v5.4
    PHP 7.2
