'Aggregate' Pages with no content
-
I have worked on a number of sites now where there are pages that have content displayed from internal sources other than the WordPress editor.
These pages include home pages utilizing custom meta boxes for content management of featured content, sideshows, etc. But this also applies to pages that I refer to as Aggregator pages. For example a Project Gallery, or Category Page – where the individual page may use the native WordPress category description and as a non-editor driven template appears to have no content.
Does Yoast SEO report these pages accurately? Or should I rely more on Google Webmaster to really see what is so? In some cases I have content managers who see the negative report by Yoast and insist there’s something to fix – but Google Webmaster shows something different.
