    Hi

    When I enable Agreggate JS files, most things break.

    The PageSpeed is boosted massively, but I guess that’s because it makes it pretty static.

    I have a testimonial slider that doesn’t show, Ninja Forms doesn’t show. I use Smush Pro which I have to disable or I lose all images also.

    Can you please help me locate the problem?

    Thank you

    J

    Ah!

    I just clicked the above link and it all works when I’m a logged in user.

    It doesn’t work when I’m not logged into WP.

    EDIT: because Autoptimize doesn’t run for logged in users. Not a helpful addition ??

    OK, when JS is aggregated (and not logged in ?? ) what JS errors are logged on the browser console?

    Hmmm, not really helpful :-/ In the JS optimization exclusion field, can you try excluding one of below each line and report back?

    * wp-content/themes
    * OR wp-content/plugins
    * OR wp-includes/js

    (I assume “also aggregate inline JS” is off, if not try disabling that as well)

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    I tried those and it didn’t help.

    I then UN-ticked the box “Add try/catch wrapping?” and it started working ??

    Can’t remember why I ticked that box originally but its been that way for some time.

    Anyway, all good.
