    So I need to enable the aggregate CSS as the website I am using it on has so many render blocking css files. But when i do, it breaks the header which is quite weird, i’ve tried to mess around with certain settings although no hope.

    The CSS is also render-blocking when “aggregate CSS” is on, if you want to avoid having render-blocking CSS you’ll have to look into the “remove render-blocking CSS” option (including providing “above the fold CSS” or activating “critical CSS”) @jaimster08 ..

    That being said, if you do want “aggregate CSS” on, in the CSS optimization exclusion field, can you try excluding one of below each line and report back?

    * wp-content/themes
    * OR wp-content/plugins

    based on that we can see what next steps might need to be.

    Hi this worked although there is a lot of css from autooptimise still running? I only used the first field in exlusions: wp-content/themes

    Autoptimize by default minifies unminified excluded CSS (and JS), which is probably what is happening there (all the autoptimize_single_xyz.css ones).
