Agentpress Plugin Thumbnail Cropping

Is there a way to stop Agentpress Plugin from taking the featured image
and cropping it?

The APL plugin does not crop images. All it does is register an image size. WP core does the cropping based on the registered image size.

If you do not want your images cropped then upload images that match the aspect ratio of your APL image size.

For example – your APL image size is 500×300 then upload images that are a factor of those dimensions

500 x 2 = 1000px wide
300 x 2 = 600px high

500 x 3 = 1500px wide
300 x 3 = 900px high

On this topic, is there a way to make WP stop making 3 copies plus the original when using the media manager to upload. I swear on other installations I did not have so many copies of the same pic. Figured I must have made changes at some point, but like so many other things I have forgotten how it was done. I always thought it was best to use css or html tags to alter the size of a pic displayed, correct?

Thanks Brad, I guess my last theme did not use the functions.php part so when I just put everything to zero it stopped on it. Not sure why I did not find your site when I googled the questions before, but subscribing now.
