AgentPress Featured Listings Displaying Non-Featured Listings

  • Hello!

    A new client asked me to fix their real estate website that is using AgentPress. They have the featured listing displayed on the homepage. The widget is displaying both featured and non-featured listings. When I try to open the “visibility” tab on the widget and select the “Featured On Home” taxonomy no listings are displayed. Is this a known issue?

  • Hi Logan,

    Our AgentPress listing plugin widget does not have an option to choose which listings show, there is just an option for how many listings you would like to show on the homepage. It takes the most recently added listings and shows them depending on the number you select to display.

    There is also not a visibility tab on the listing widget so I am not sure if the plugin was customized to add that feature. Here is what our listing widget looks like by default – https://d.pr/i/JSYP6r

    Thanks for your quick response! I’ve attached a link to what the current widget looks like so it definitely looks different. According to the client, the widget used to display only the listings that had the “Featured On Home” box checked. The website is running Genesis Framework with the AgentPress Child Theme. I guess it’s possible that the plugin/theme was customized and a WordPress core update broke the customization.

    Thank you for the screenshot! That is not our widget for the listing plugin and it does look like it has been customized. This is not something we would be able to assist you with, I am very sorry.
