    Hello,

I just installed the Plugin “Redirection”.

My goal is to redirect mobile users to a different site when they get to my website.

Source URL: my start site (/)
    Exact match in any order
    Title: empty
    Match: URL and User-Agent
    User Agent: iPad|iPod|iPhone|Android|BlackBerry|SymbianOS|SCH-Md+|Opera Mini|Windows CE|Nokia|SonyEricsson|webOS|PalmOS
When Matched: Redirect to URL (301)
Target: Link to my different site
    Group: redirections

When I check the redirection it says:
    Found: 200
    Agent: Not using Redirection

When I turn “URL and User-Agent” just to “URL” everything works fine. So I think the error is caused by the user agents. How can I just include mobile devices?

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thank you in advance

The URL checker does not include any user agent, so you cannot use that to test the URL.

    Okey thats plausible.

But when I go with my Android Mobile Phone on the website, there is still no redirection. I have already deleted the cache, nothing works.

When I put the desired URL to “Unmatched Target” then it works on all devices (and of course on desktops as well). So its not the redirection itself that does not work. There is a problem with the agent settings.

    How can I solve that?

I tried it now with different URLs to exclude problems with my start site, it still does not work on mobile devices…

Your device can also cache a URL and you will need to clear the cache there. If your redirect matches the user agent string of your device then it will redirect.
