First, thank you for writing this plugin. It is the best implementation of an age gate that I have seen in a while. I am currently using v2 on a site as just a Yes/No gate, using JavaScript and it works great on all browsers except IE (only tried it on 11). On IE, when clicking the “Yes” button, it seems to get stuck, by which I mean that the form box tries to fade out, but then comes back. Clicking on the “No” button does direct one to an external URL, but only after a delay.

For the time being, I am using the non-JavaScript version, but I would prefer to use the JavaScript version, as it allows the site content to load and be seen behind the overlay. Any thoughts on what the issue might be and if it is easily correctable?

Also, I made a small donation in appreciation of your work. I hope that it helps.

    Thanks,

    Pete

    Hi Pete,

Firstly, thanks for the donation, it’s greatly appreciated.

On the IE front, there are a couple of event fired when the age gate is shown/passed and I was using the latest JS to trigger them which was probably a bit stupid of me! I’ve reverted to a jQuery trigger method and it’s now working as expected.

I’ve added the updated version to the downloads page of at the age gate site.

    Thanks
    Phil
