• Hi,

I have html5 games posted within an iframe on my site. Is it possible to use this plugin as an age gate on these games? I need my visitors to be able to verify their age before they can access the game, like a layer on top of the actual game if that makes sense.

Can it be achieved with this plugin? Thank you.

    HI @danniee,

I think I know what you mean, it’s not something that’s possible in a simple way, but could be achievable if you get a bit creative.

What you could do is create a custom post type for the games/embeds and restrict those pages. Then iFrame in the custom post type from your own page so they appear age restricted. That’s then have the iframe to the game in. Does that make any sense? I could throw an example together if that helps!

Just an aside, I have long considered a more “inline” feature for the plugin. Just need to think about how it would work.

    Thanks

@philsbury thank you, it sounds like a possible solution although I was looking for a bit more sophisticated approach. Might have to hire a programmer for that ??

    Hi

Just checking to see if there is a solution to this yet? I don’t want to restrict the whole page/post but only the iframed content (games). Would be absolutely outstanding if this could be achieved with the plugin.

Was thinking it would be really great if there was a shortcode functionality like [agegate]<iframe>[/agegate]
