• For some time now while developing the website I have been having slowness editing with Elementor Pro on my secondary language; Japanese. After moving over to the Production server and updating to elementor-pro-2.7.1 things broke and I was unable to use the Elementor plug-in. After disabling all of the sites plug-ins I was able to determine that it is the Age Gate plug-in causing all my problems. I really like your plug-in and would prefer to use yours as the other Age verification plug-in kinda suck. Has anyone else reported issues like what I am mentioning, in brief, and if so what do you recommend? If you have any questions please let me know. The Production site is live but in TEST mode. The Age-Gate plug-in is disabled.

    Hi @entalzar,

There is an issue with Elementor as you must use the_content() in your templates. You should be able to get round this by switching Age Gate to Javascript mode in the Advanced Settings.

    Thanks

    Hello @philsbury ,

Thank you for getting back to me. I already tried Age Gate to Javascript mode in the Advanced Settings and it makes things worse. Implementing this setting cause the Age Gate plug-in to ramp up the CPU and RAM on the VPS to maximum.

I read about the “elementor as you must use the_content()” function in the template and after updating my template to the latest version the site broke.Wish I hadn’t done the template update. Trying to fix the template by adding the necessary PHP code didn’t work. After trying all I could, disabling Age Gate resolves my issue.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Are you perhaps working on a revision?

    Best regards,

    Scott
