Hi, please help using current version of TablePress.
I tried installing and activating with both methods (manually and via the dashboard Add plugin). In either case I do not see the TablePress command in my dashboard side menu.
I tried the suggested method here https://’my site’/wp-admin/options.php as found from past posts.
The value I find is ’37’. When I change it to ‘0’ and save the changes, it always reverts back to ’37’ if the plugin is activated.
If I deactivate the plugin, change ’37’ to ‘0’ in Options, and save the changes, it does stay to ‘0’ up to the moment I reactivate the plugin, and then it does come back to the original ’37’.
    Your suggestions mostly welcome!
    Pierre

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

It’s expected that the number changes to 37 again. This then basically triggers the installation routines, during which the access capabilities are set.
One thing to check: Is your user assigned to a standard user role (like Administrator, Editor, or Author), or are you using custom user roles on the site?
In order for me to find out more, please get in touch via email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”).

    Regards,
    Tobias
