Hola, this seems to be a recurring problem as I have read through the past posts attempting to resolve the issue. As such, I have checked saved, cleared cache, unchecked, save, clear-cache (in all sections) on the option in Browser cache “Prevent caching of objects after settings change” yet “Remove Query String from Static Content” continues to be graded as an ‘F’ in Page Speed.

Any solution outside of the “here add this to your functions.php….” would be much appreciated.

Resolved the issue by selecting “Manual” in the Minify options, then running “Help” wizard, and finally deleting all characters following file extension of the scripts selected in the pop up window, i.e. in the file named:

/wp-content/plugins/revslider/rs-plugin/js/jquery.themepunch.revolution.min.js?ver=3.6, deleting “?ver=3.6” so that the final string looks as follows:

    /wp-content/plugins/revslider/rs-plugin/js/jquery.themepunch.revolution.min.js

Hello Allimaple, where is this “Help” wizard?

Is this a theme feature or is it part of the pluging?
    As I can’t find it.

I have the same problem but never bothered to solve it as only 1 file remains with the query string, since I added the pluging that removes them.

    Hi Saludcasera,

On the Minify Page of the plugin near the top right under “Minify via disk is currently enabled.” You will see the following:

To rebuild the minify cache use the EMPTY CACHE operation. Get minify hints using the HELP wizard. UPDATE MEDIA QUERY STRING to make existing file modifications visible to visitors with a primed cache.
