Again: Image can not be loaded in Gallery

Hi There, I seem to have a problem that many have had already.

In a gallery, when clicking on an image I get the error “image cannot be loaded. Make sure the path is correct and the image exists”.

I understand that this can be fixed by adding link=”file” to the definition of the gallery. However, I want to show the attachment page. This is because I want to show additional information and images when the gallery item is clicked.

Is there a way to circumvent this problem and let the gallery show the attachment page? Or is there another way to show additional information when a gallery image has been clicked?
