After wordpress update payapl delays

    hi after wordpress new update although payments are shown in paypal, in woocommerce orders are stuck at processing for some time until the payment id is showed and marked as completed. i had an order paid but didnt noticed it until customer contacted us, cause in woocommerce was still pending without paypal id. It was confirmed after 1 hour or so.

    Dont know if the problem is plugin related (wordpress/woocommerce) or its just paypal but also 2-3 days ago paymnent notifications were delayed up to 2 hours.Yesterday emails were received instantly but today again have delays.

  • Hi @koullis,

    PayPal uses a system called IPN no send notifications to sites about payments. It sounds like this site is having trouble receiving these notices at least occasionally.

    We have a guide to working through IPN problems you can take a look at.

    Work through that section and see if it doesn’t help you find out what’s going on. Let us know if you have any trouble or questions.
