After upgrading to 2.7.1 buttons missing on Edit Post page

  • Hi,

    I upgraded early this morning to 2.7.1. After upgrading, some of my buttons are missing from the edit post page.

    I use the wysywig button manager version 0.5 and have additional buttons (like code) available. In addition, I have other plugins activated, including WP Poll, and that had inserted a button.

    Before upgrading, the “code” button was there, and is gone now. In addition I notice that the split/etended entry button is gone; I’m not sure about other buttons, only the ones I’ve specifically noticed, there could be more. I disabled the plugin wondering if there was now a conflict with that plugin. The split/etended button is still gone. So is the Poll button.

    I’m wondering if anyone else is having a problem with missing buttons or the mentioned plugins.

    No one else is having similar problems?

    Any suggestions how how else I might troubleshoot this?

    I’m having problems with the buttons on my dashboard. It seems like I only get the barebones of it, I can’t change the appearance at all because the APPEARANCE tab (on the left side of the dashboard) isn’t there.
    Yesterday I had problems with the VISUAL/CODE view buttons being gone but I can see them in firefox now, while I can’t see them in IE.

    My button problems in both Firefox (3.0.5) and Opera (9.63). I don’t use IE.
