After upgrading to 2.1.1 Page not found

Problem started when I upgraded to 2.1.1. I used fantastico on my cpanel which worked fine on my initial instalation fo 2.1.

Fantastico installs successfully and gives me the link. However, when I click through I get a 404 page not found. This is the same with the blog directory and admin panel.

I have uninstalled and installed numerous times and get the same error. I have even tried to install to a directory with a new name and also on root directory.

When I intalled to root directory it only brought up my html homepage.

Any ideas as to what the problem is? A back up of the previous installation was created by fantastico, can I unzip that and restore the previous intallation?
