After Upgrade to 2.0.5 –>

  • Posting, editing, and loading the wp-admin/post.php is still painfully slow.

    I commented out the PressIt and Page Preview parts of the post.php and WordPress is fast and furious once again.

    That said, I do not like editing the core files of WordPress ever. I am uncomfortable with this solution, but I just couldn’t take it any more.

    A lot has been said, with and without additude, about the current speed on a busy blog, but as anything constructive been discussed that I overlooked?
