After upgrade to 2.0.3 from 2.0.0, Max Events to Show option missing

    After updating to 2.0.3, it seems a lot of options have gone missing, namely the Max Events. I checked the screenshot of the plugin in the 2.0.3 zip, and my Edit Feed screen even looks different, see https://imgur.com/6fpkv6S

    Then the plugin was fetching events for the entire month. I tried using shortcode like [gcal id=”123″ max=”1″ display=”list”], but instead of showing 1, it still showed the entire month.

    Do you know why this happened?
    I have a custom theme, but I highly doubt it’d override the menu like this.

    I have reverted to 2.0.0 in the meantime and things are back to normal.
    On a side note, I noticed that 2.0.3 seemed to surround Next and Back around the month, which doesn’t look good. Was that intentional?

  • Problem resolved, thanks. I did the uninstall, ignored the WP warning about deleting data, and then re-installed. Happily, my feeds survived.

    Then I (finally) saw the Retrieve From/Retrieve Until – which allowed me to get the desired result.

    What about a “Retrieve Until” setting for “1 year hence”?

    Anyway case closed. Thanks again.
