After upgrade to 1.2.3 there is no Image Map Areas section in admin

    Hi.
    This is a really useful plugin. Thanks for making it.

    After upgrading to version 1.2.3 there is no Image Map Areas section in admin. Is this intentional? I had noted in the previous version that image map areas could be created, but they were useless unless created via the actual visual map are creation tool. My guess then, is that the removal of being able to do that was intentional. However, it would be good to be able to see a list of all image map areas and to be able to edit the content, as before. Perhaps removing the New Image map Area button would have been a better idea.

    Right, I turned the areas non-public, which removed them from search results and such. Apparently also from the admin menu. I can of course re-enable them in the admin menu and specifically disable search and such, if they are really needed there. You can of course access all areas from the image maps which they are part of.

    Thanks for your response.
    My only thought about re-enabling them in the admin area is that it is easier to see all of the areas there, which makes editing the content of them a little easier. Scrolling down the small panel on the right, in the image map editing area can get a bit tedious, when there are a lot of areas to edit.

    As you say, this can be done in the image page editing section itself and so isn’t a show-stopper.
    Not wanting to cause you extra work, perhaps only consider re-enabling the admin area listing, if there is more demand for it than just from me.

    For me, a feature with a higher priority would be a rectangular marquee, to make it easier to ensure that the lines on rectangles are straight.
    Perhaps that is for another thread post?
