After Upgrade still get msg “Please upgrade now”

Hi All,

I have upgraded from 2.3 to 2.3.1 and everything seems to have gone okay. However my blog still gives me the message.

“A new version of WordPress is available! Please update now.”

I have searched the forum and there are a few posts on this topic, but I haven’t found one that solves the problem or explains why it’s happening. I have (I think) cleared the cache but no joy.

Can anyone please help?
