    Hello,
In the previous versions, the sending process was working every hour in a success cron job.
But after the new update, the cron job of sending emails every hour is not working any more, and I must send emails every hour manually by clicking on Send Emails Now button.

    Any help on this issue.
    Thanks.

Did you enable the new auto cron feature? It’s under sending account I believe. We can check your site to make sure messages send even if your site doesn’t get a lot if traffic, which is how the wordpress cron works.

Please click the following link for instructions on what info to provide support. https://sendpress.com/support/knowledgebase/what-information-should-i-provide-in-a-support-ticket/

Just remove your URL if posting here.

Apache logs may also help if you can get them.

The strange thing is that in the previous versions, the process of sending emails was working every hour in a success way while my website traffic is the same like now.
I wonder what is changing here in the new version that makes sending emails every hour not working automatically? and need be be manually?

Please I need to understand what is changing.

    Thanks.

There could definitely be a bug. That’s why it would help to have some more information about your site. But if you try Enabling the new auto cron feature it just may fix the problem for now while we determine why it is not working for you without that enabled. You can always disable it later and use the built-in WordPress Cron.

Do you have auto cron enabled?

    yes I do

    Plugin Author itdoug

    (@itdoug)

I don’t see your domain listed for auto cron. Would it be possible for you to disable it and then reenable it? Depending on which version you upgraded from it’s possible that disabling and re-enabling would be required because of some code changes. Give that a try and let us know. Also let me know when you make the change so I can check to see if it registered.

Ok, I’ve done that. Can you check if my site is registered? Thanks.

    Plugin Author itdoug

    (@itdoug)

Looks like it registered. We think we may have discovered a bug. I’ll update you when I know more.

    Plugin Author itdoug

    (@itdoug)

I am pretty sure that we were able to resolve this. Your site is now registered and I think the update that we released last night should take care of any further issues.

I’ve now updated to the new version. Should I delete my queue and start again?

    Plugin Author itdoug

    (@itdoug)

It’s up to you. I’m not sure deleting your queue is necessary, but if you want to start fresh and it won’t cause you any problems to do so it seems like a good idea.
