I have upgraded to Woocommerce 2.6.1 and I have serious issues with the new version regarding shipping methods.

I have added several shipping zones, but on the cart page, only one is displayed by default. With the previous version, I had several methods and they would all show by default, and there were radio buttons for the customer to choose one. Now one is chosen by default and the other one doesn’t show.

Are there some further modifications to make so that all shipping methods are shown ?

  • This is the exact same issue that I have. It would be great if someone could help with this.
My site is more or less useless at the moment as I can’t take orders.

Make sure you add your methods to the same zone. A customer can only match one zone at a time.

    Thank you Mike,
I have 6 zones set u apart from the ‘rest of the world’ one, and each of them has multiple shipping methods, all flat rate as this is what I have always done.
What happens at checkout is that only the first zone shows up no matter what location is selected, and only the price of the first shipping method is applied to the total order cost.

Here’s a screenshot of my checkout page https://snag.gy/7RUW8B.jpg
Note how even though the cart subtotal is NGN2,000 and the shipping method chosen is NGN1,500 the order total is still NGN2,500 which reflects the first shipping method for this zoone which costs NGN500.

    Thanks again.

I think your rate names are too long – why have you added the location to the flat rate name?

I have to do that because I charge different rates based on their location, and zip codes don’t work in Nigeria.

The names are actually lists of the locations for delivery.

So you’re leaving it for customers to choose their location?

2 zones have nigeria. Nigerians will only match the top zone, not the second, because of this.

I didn’t add the Nigeria zone until a few minutes ago because I was desperate. I will take it out now.

I have removed Nigeria from both zones. Problem persists. This is the only way I have figured out to get customer to see their total order cost when they checkout, because the rates for different areas are different based on distance from my shop. Suggestions as to a better way would be appreciated.

Thank you ademide, this was not intuitive for my website because I only have a main location zone, but different shipping methods. My mistake was to create several shopping zones.

Screenshot it again but show the address/country so I can see what it’s basing rates on.

Sorry, I had to zoom out to get the full page so it is quite tiny.

It won’t refresh until the full address is entered.

A full address is entered in the form. If it isn’t too much trouble, could you please visit the site and try it yourself? It is https://www.adunniorganics.com I have had zero orders today, and I don’t know how to fix this.
