  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

Thank you for a quick response….however, I am not able to get into the site at all. After logging in it takes me to the front page (static) and when I click Dashboard, or try any other page, post, anything, I get a “we are not able…..page.

Any other suggestion on how to get inside?

ncata, I think you’ll have to get into your backend through your web hosting control panel, not the WordPress dashboard. Once in the control panel, you’ll be able to rename folders, etc.

Please re-read my post above. None of the suggestions I made require you to login to your WordPress dashboard.
