after updating to v1.6.21 – The HFS Retina Image “custom url” is dead

    Hi,

    im using Elementor v3.17.2 and i have updated Elementor Header Footer Builder to its latest version 1.6.21.

    But from now on the href (custom url) of the Retina Image container in the header does not work anymore.

    And when i update to the latest Elementor version, the Retina images of the header do not have 100% fill of the container. they are scaled down and the custom link still doesnt work.

    I have a not updated version of your plugin, where the custom url works well but im only allowed to put one url into the link box above. But when you open the page i mentioned above you are able to get to the other page where the Elementor Header Footer Builder – Retina Image is working well (Version 1.6.17).

    Im also able to recreate the issue with the downscaled Retina images if this is necessary(this issue affects the responsive view and the desktop view).

    any suggestions or help would be appreciated

    Ive found a temporary solution to fix it. i have also installed the essential addons Plugin. By using the ea Wrapper link – the href is working again.

    I got two retina images in my header. on the left image, the custom url was set and its not working. On the right image, i activated the ea Wrapper Link.

    I’m having this same problem. Links are not working with the Retina Image widget.
