After updating to 3.1 – Connection lost message in dashboard

    After updating wp to version 4.5 and updating the Hueman theme to 3.1.0 I frequently get this error-message in the dashboard editing posts an pages: Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.

    This might be a wp-issue, a theme-issue or a plugin-issue. Site running on Linux server/webhotel. Just wondering if anyone else have the same problem with wp 4.5 and theme 3.1? The entire site/dasboard also appears to respond very slowly.

    Would be happy for any comments to this issue?

    Hi,
    This should not be related to the Hueman theme.
    Can you try with another theme (like twenty sixteen) and check if the issue occurs ?

    Thanks for your response @nikeo I′ve been testing, turning off plugins one by one. Seems to be the plugin Limit Login Attempts by Johan Eenfeldt causing the problem. I am not completely sure – could also be some kind of speed/response problems on my host provider servers, but the provider claim this is not the case. By the way – the Limit Login plugin is included in the wp-bundle provided as one click install from my host.
