    Hi,
    Today I update the Plugin to 2.6.1
    After update, it does not Generate wp-content/cache/caos-analytics/analytics.js File

    Uncaught ReferenceError: ga is not defined
        at (index):7

    After that, I Update the analytics.js via Setting Panel Generate the JS File
    It’s Bug or Normal issue?

    @politicske, @worldfacts, @moza24, @kibus90,

    Can one of you use my contact form and send me an account to access your WordPress administrator area? I’ve been trying to reproduce this error locally, but I can’t. I’d like to see it for myself, so I can figure out where exactly the error is occuring.

    If necessary, also provide me with steps to reproduce the error.

    Thank you.

    @politicske, @worldfacts, @moza24, @kibus90,

    Guys,

    I did fix one bug, where if the new Snippet Type-option wasn’t set, the tracking code wouldn’t load fully. This caused a ‘ga is not defined error’ in the console. In the frontend.

    However, I haven’t been able to trigger an error when using the update analytics.js/ga.js/gtag.js-button.

    Please let me know if you still run into anything.

    @kibus90,

    Thank you for providing me with access to your administrator area. I’ve checked it out and it appears that clicking ‘Save Changes’ and then ‘Update analytics.js’ did resolve the error.

    Btw, WP Fastest Cache Pro was preventing the caos-admin.js-file to load (which triggers the script to update analytics.js when the button is clicked), because ‘Remove render blocking javascript’ was enabled. So I disabled it, and now you can update analytics.js manually again. It was already working through the Cron though.

    In version 2.6.2 this bug is resolved.

    I’m marking this topic as resolved. Thanks guys, for reporting it!
