After updating to 1.4.2 purple lines/boxes around links

These lines are one of many accessibility improvements we made in Storefront 1.4.0. You can read more about them here: https://www.woothemes.com/2015/03/storefront-1-4-2-now-more-accessible/

I wouldn’t really recommend removing them, but to do so you can with something like:

a:focus {
outline: none;
}

After reading about the accessibility it makes perfect sense.

Although I believe 3-5 underlines is over the top ??

I see that the demo store has only 1 underline…?

Ah, I see the issue there, it’s because the products are overflow: hidden;. I’ll fix that for the next release so the outline works around the product properly.
