    Dear All,

Also noted one more thing in the protocols sections of Redirecting plugin , this url https://sab1000.com/wp-content/themes/storefront/storefront-style.min-rtl.css/ is showing 404 error. Is its the reason that website speed is effected . Please help me understand this.

    Hi there @overyah ??

After updating Storefront theme Metrix showing long time laps

From what I gather, you are seeing these metrics when utilizing a child theme at your site.

Can you go ahead with switching to the default Storefront theme (linked here), and see how it goes, please?

Furthermore, I went ahead with testing the site, for reference, and the results did not include the issue you are inquiring about:

    I hope that helps.

    Dear Pepe,

Thanks a lot for your reply on the mentioned issues – as suggested by you , I temporary have actived Storefront parent theme and noticed arabic language is breaking the site. https://snipboard.io/YDLXT5.jpg

Where as in the Storefront child theme every thing is fine because SG optimiser has that combining option enabled for me. but its taking a long time lap which is effecting the website speed.

Please help me resolve this slow website issue.

    Thanks

    Hi @overyah

    You mentioned earlier:

Also noted one more thing in the protocols sections of Redirecting plugin , this url?https://sab1000.com/wp-content/themes/storefront/storefront-style.min-rtl.css/?is showing 404 error. Is its the reason that website speed is effected . Please help me understand this.

That file is not present in the built Storefront theme and I don’t see anywhere in the repository where the Storefront theme requests/enqueues that style. The request for that URL might be coming from something custom on your site or child theme.

Where as in the Storefront child theme every thing is fine because SG optimiser has that combining option enabled for me.?

Is this a custom child theme you are using for Storefront, or one of the themes in the WooCommerce marketplace? If from the marketplace, can you share the name of the child theme you are using? Also what does “SG optimiser” refer to? Is this a special plugin/extension provided by your host or is it something downloaded from the www.remarpro.com plugin repository?

You also mentioned that you ran your site through the GTMetrix tool. I’m not seeing any of the original errors you reported in this thread via that report. Have you made changes since first starting this forum thread?

    Dear Darren ,

Thanks a lot for your support and reply on the mentioned issues.

The main reason, to open this ticket is to optimize the website , so i am trying every possible way to speed up the website. As you guessed , yes I have completely moved the website from custom child theme to Storefront parent theme. The mentioned ?https://sab1000.com/wp-content/themes/storefront/storefront-style.min-rtl.css/?missing file is no more shown in redirection protocol list because as a temporary solution I have removed the arabic option from translation because the arabic translation is breaking the website, as mentioned earlier(KINDLY SUGESST how to successfully use arabic translation in current Storefront theme (parent )) and to maintain the speed along with arabic translation.

    Secondly,

“SG optimiser” refer to? Is this a special plugin/extension provided by your host

Yes dear Darren, its a optimiser plugin provided by host to optimise the website which showing long time lap as combined options are enabled. I contacted the hosting and their answer is as below

I have checked and indeed the SG optimiser has that combining option enabled for you. What I can suggest here is to contact the developers of them directly, and ask them for the best configuration of the installed plugins, as they should be able to provide the most accurate settings: https://woocommerce.com/documentation/products/themes/storefront/

I would appericiate your expert advice on the mentioned two issues.

    Regards

I am closing this ticket : the best solution is to replace SG optimisation plugin with WP optimisation Thank you all for you support.
