5.2 is 10 years old. Any chance you can upgrade?

I’ve added a message that will let people know that PHP 5.3 is required if they are running something older.

Depending on your host account, you can typically find the PHP version under software or software and services. Look for PHP Version and select the either the system default or version 5.3.xx (5.3.29 on my host).

FYI the 1.8.7 release will be PHP 5.2 compatible.
