After updating plugins, they do not disappear from the update list

  • For a few weeks now, I have a weird problems with updating plugins.
    When I see a plugin needs an update, it says
    You have version 3.2.3 installed. Update to 3.2.4. View version 3.2.4 details.
    on the update page. So far, so good.
    After I updated the plugin(s), the update ballon on the admin bar re-appears and on the update page it then says
    You have version 3.2.4 installed. Update to 3.2.4. View version 3.2.4 details.
    I could “update” these plugins forever. After some days, the message disappears, but somehow it still bothers me that they are still showing as yet to update.
    Can’t really put my finger on it why this would happen, so I can’t give you a direction where to look at. Just wondering if anybody knwos what could cause it?
