    Hi

I just updated wordpress, plugins and theme in one of my pages, and pageBuilder has stopped working, when I enter the Editor widget the 404 warning page appears (see attached image) instead of the content editor.

I use the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, the Classic Editor and TinyMCE Advance plugins. I have tried disabling each one of them and all at once and the problem keeps appearing.

Fortunately, it does not affect the visualization in the browser, but I can′t edit any content, since the rest of the widgets (image, custom html, etc …) appear empty.

I use the Customizr theme and the php version on the server is 7.2.13

I have had the same problem updating a page hosted on another server, this page uses the Sidney theme.

Do you have an email where you can send us the access so they can look at the problem? The webpage is actually in coming soon mode.

    Thank you

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Elier

We, unfortunately, don’t have any open issues like this at the moment. Try installing Query Monitor, recreate the issue and let us know what errors are being picked up.

    Hi Andrew

I attached in the message 3 screenshots of Query Monitor, I hope they serve as a guide to locate the problem.

    Screen 1
    Screen 2
    Screen 3

On the other hand, I noticed in the WP dashboard that something is mentioned about building a 404 page with Page builder and coincidentally, the screen that appears instead of the PageBuilder Editor is a 404 page … it will have something to do with the problem ? Reference in screen

    ??

Thanks for the screenshots, unfortunately, there isn’t anything helpful listed.

The post in the Page Builder news section is about building a custom 404 page for the front-end of your website, it’s unrelated to the problem you’ve encountered.

There is a good chance that the 404 error relates to the mod_security module on your servers flagging the request. If that’s the case, your hosts would be able to assist by reviewing the error logs and whitelisting the request. You could try reaching out to either host, assuming there are two different hosts, explain the 404 issue in the admin and request that relevant logs be reviewed.

I just want to add that we are having the same issues with one client, and that it is related to ModSecurity in our case. We are investigating to see what rule is causing this problem and we will be reporting back it we have more details.

Thanks. Please let us know how it goes.
We’re investigating on our end but haven’t been able to recreate yet.

Here is the error that came out of our ModSecurity. My admin removed 3 rules (they didn’t share what rules) and it now works.
