• Yesterday I started to update your BackupGuard plugin, and something went wrong, website and admin panel do not load. I have got this error message:

    SGExceptionMethodNotAllowed: Cannot create folder: ***/wp-content/uploads/jetbackup/ (earlier backups are stored in folder named “backup-guard”. Why changed?)

    After creating manually this folder:
    SGExceptionForbidden: Permission denied. Directory is not writable: ***/wp-content/uploads/jetbackup/

    After adding permissions Website started to load and it works, but trying to access admin panel I got error: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS.
    I can not get to admin panel to

    I tried to deactivate your plugin through FTP connection, it does not help.
    Tried to change backup-folder to old (“backup-guard”) in config.php, the error remains.

    Tried to clear cache an cookies, does not help.

    Tried to change .htaccess to default, does not help.

    What can I do?

    Apologies for the inconvenience you have faced regarding this matter. In order to try and reproduce this error on our end, can you please tell us the method that you used to update from BackupGuard to JetBackup for WordPress?
