When I update an image (another image all together) – I still get the same image (the old one) on the blog page. This happens both in the hosted (.com) and my own (.org) version of the WordPress. Is there a way to “refresh” the image from the post to the main (the cubes in a matrix) page? Is there a way to “force” the updating “right now”?

  • If you don’t upload a featured image to each post, then the post displays the first image attached to the post on the blog grid.

To detach an image from a post you’ll need to go into your Media Library under Media in your admin dashboard. Be sure you’re in List view:

Find the old image attached to the post, and click the word “Detach” under it.

Now find your new image and click “Attach” and follow the prompts to attach it to your desired post.

Also I don’t know who you are hosting thru, but you may want to try to flush the cashe if you can (I know godaddy has been lagging in the past week for me)
