after update to 7.1.2 blocking only shows until 24 january 2018

    Hello dear Wordfencers,

    I could not find my problem on this forum. So I post it as a new topic.
    Since the update today to 7.1.2 the Blocking section goes no further than 24 january 2018.
    I rolled back to 7.1.1. and all is up to date again.

    It seems to me that lately, after the great renewal, there can be nasty flaws in updates.

    Just to make sure I understand this issue correctly, do you mean that IPs list in (Wordfence > Firewall > Blocking) isn’t complete? it shows the IPs to “24 january 2018” only?

    If you can use any database management tool (phpMyAdmin for example), could you check “wfBlocks7” table and do a quick comparison between the data in that table and the data you have listed on Blocking page?

    Also, while being on the Blocking page please check the browser console for any JS error you might find there.

    Yes, you got my problem right. Alas. The shown IP’s go to 23 January in 7.1.2.
    The browser console only says this: ‘JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1’
    Since I am not a developer I don’t know what means ‘database management tool’, so sorry I can’t give a comparison.
    I truly hope that in 7.1.3 this problem can be fixed…

    I don’t know why my posts got deleted, but I think I have this figured out. It’s a display issue. Since the 7.1.2 upgrade, the blocked IP addresses are shown sorted by “Block Type” such that the manual blocks made after January 24th don’t appear at the top. If the table is sorted by “Rule Added”, the manual blocks made after January 24th will appear, provided they haven’t expired. I just did this on two of the sites I’m experiencing this issue with and the IP addresses I blocked, over the past 6 days, appeared.

    By chance, one of the newer sites I’m working on had so few entries, I was able to see where the new blocks appeared. It never dawned on me to sort the table, until today. lol
